MMHA Agency

Miami Metropolitan Housing Authority is a government agency that is responsible for managing and operating local public housing programs and the Housing Choice Voucher program (formerly known as Section 8) in Miami County. MMHA is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). They aim to provide affordable, decent, safe, and sanitary housing options, often for low-income individuals and families.

MMHA Co-Owned Tax Credit Sites

Miami Metropolitan Housing Authority & Miami County Community Action Council both act as partners in tax credit developments to create additional affordable housing in Miami County. The level of involvement depends on each project. Both agencies are interested in developing more affordable housing in Miami County as housing has been identified as a foundational issue for the residents that both agencies serve. Any interested developers are welcome to contact andriab@miamicac.org. Any resident who is interested in available housing sites in Miami County can reach out to miamimha@miamicac.org to request a housing list.
