Miami County residents seeking Winter Crisis, HEAP, or PIPP assistance need to contact the agency at 937-335-7921 and ask for utility scheduling. Limited walk-ins are available Monday-Friday starting at 8am, first come first served. Applicants who are only applying for HEAP or PIPP may continue to drop off applications at the office drop boxes (front and rear accessible location) in lieu of scheduling an appointment.
The Public Housing program is subsidized housing for eligible low-income individuals, and families, making 80% of area median income or less. Owned, operated, and maintained by Miami Metropolitan Housing Authority through its Public Housing department, this program consists of two housing sites in Troy, and one housing site in Piqua, with a total of 127 units.
