The 2025 SCP can provide income eligible households with a one-time benefit to assist with electric bills, central air conditioning repair, and window A/C unit and/or fans. Households must meet at least one eligibility criteria listed below:

• A household member who is 60 or older
• A household member with a documented medical condition verified by a licensed medical professional who is qualified under Ohio law to write prescriptions
• Electric utility that has a disconnect notice, has been shut off, needs transferred, or needs established

Applicants MUST bring:

‍

• Citizenship documents for ALL household members (including birthdates and social security numbers)
• Proof of income for ALL household members for the previous 30 days (12 months required for seasonally and self-employed)
• Utility bills (heating and electric), regardless of status
• Proof of disability (if applicable)
